The New Grad RN Residency Program is a paid internship program for new graduates to receive hands-on acute care nursing experience in 12-17 months. Sign on bonus offered!!!!! Shift Times: Days & Nights Salary Range: $29/hr and up No More than 6 months of RN exp. - ideally less than 2 months of hospital and no more than 6 months nursing home/home health The Residency Program provides you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. This paid program will assist you with the transition out of the classroom setting through a formalized series of learning experiences, including: What will you do in this role: Shadow and work with a trained mentor for roles in the Registered Nurse role. Attend regular meetings between resident, trainer, and/or their Director Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Perform the administration of prescribed medications. Monitor patient for therapeutic response. Notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication. Perform exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strive to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively. After completion of internship, the individual will transition into full-time employment at facility and will be asked to sign a two year commitment with facility.
