Operate and maintain food and drink related equipment and registers properly and safely. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management. Work Environment: This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be expose to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing and face mask required. Uniforms and hygiene expectations are required. Requirements: Be able to work in fast-paced environment, exhibit a sense of urgency. Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale/cash register. Provide exceptional customer service and willing to learn the restaurant's system. Maintain neat, clean, and professional appearance. Provide a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays. Be able to learn the menu (proper ingredients, portion size and presentation). Quickly and accurately prepares food products following restaurant, health and safety standards and procedures quickly and accurately. Be pleasant and alert to customer needs. Properly and safely operates and maintains restaurant equipment including grill, fryer, freezer and other related cooking equipment while following all health and safety standards. Work as a “team” member to assure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value to each customer. Stocks and executes proper rotation of products. Controls the food production process. Breaks down and cleans the grill area thoroughly every day as assigned by a manager or shift leader.
