Prior experience with pool pumps, filters, heating, and automation systems. Basic plumbing and electrical skills are required. Position is full time paid hourly based on experience and qualifications. Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more if needed as some equipment(heaters) may require extra strength to move. Be self-sufficient to perform all daily work activities and be able to work in the year round Florida climate. Possess strong customer service skills and be outgoing towards clients. Represent yourself and the company in a professional manner at all times. Ability to operate equipment (training required or provided) Ability to erect and maintain scaffolding as competent person (training required or provided) Supervise crew of 3-5 craft personnel. Maintain productivity and focus on critical tasks Plan ahead for tasks to maximize productivity and minimize downtime Actively participate in work along with craft employees Use start and end of shift to plan and complete daily reporting responsibilities Keep track of time sheets for crew and accurately report work hours Accurately estimate amount of time and resources needed to complete given tasks Ensure work happens safely and housekeeping is maintained daily Knowledge of concrete construction and form work carpentry Knowledge of structural wood framing and carpentry Knowledge of light gauge metal stud framing Knowledge of finish trim carpentry a plus but not required Knowledge of ICF construction a plus but not required Ongoing training and continuing education to enhance abilities in knowledge areas Provide instruction and coaching to crews to continually improve performance Record the days work in the daily reports for each project and identify the production rate of the scope for that day. Maintain safe driving record in order to operate company vehicle and transport tools and equipment. Keep tool trailer or conex clean and organized. Track inventory of tools and consumables and inform manager when stock items need replenished in time to reorder before out of stock. Team player, maintain positive attitude and continually problem solve when issues arise. Supervise quality control and responsible for work to be installed per plans, specifications, minimum building codes, and best practices as established by Southern ICF Builders. Ensure professional appearance of job sites for existing and potential new clients at all times. Each week job sites to be clean on last day of work prior to leaving for weekend. Participate in well-being of business as employee-owner and actively recruit staff and promote business to enable success. Be open to learning new skills and trades to continually keep crews busy and pursue high margin scopes Track and report approved company expenses. Ability to read plans and communicate effectively with clients, designers and other trades.

Finish concrete that meets job and quality requirements Waterproof balconies in a manner that is consistent with quality standards Fall Safety standards must be observed whenever working near edges higher than 6’. Assure job site standards are maintained while work is being performed Perform work in accordance with foreman and project managers guidance Perform other duties as assigned       Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to live the ICOMPEL Values Ability to perform basic math such as subtraction and addition Ability to receive guidance and training from experienced team members Ability to work effectively on teams Ability to manage equipment and tools with the appropriate care Float and finish concrete with a broom texture and smooth towel finish. Cut in perpendicular control joints to finished product. Ability to use basic power tools.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Mechanical background is preferred 1 year of Concrete Finisher or Waterproofing experience preferred Bilingual in Spanish preferred Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States   PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Climb, crawl, and walk while carrying or operating machinery and tools upstairs, downstairs, and over potentially uneven surfaces. Lift, pull, push, and carry 80 lbs. of weight intermittently. Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate effectively with others. Sustain the stamina to perform manual labor outdoors, exposed to the elements, vibrations, loud noises, offensive smells, dust, dirt, and water in all seasons, including extreme temperatures. Safely perform work on balconies and other elevated areas with appropriate safety gear. Distinguish between different colors. Bend, squat, twist, and reach in various positions as the situation dictates. Overnight travel may be required within 3 hours of the main office location. Accommodations and daily per diem are employer provided.
