We are currently seeking a Fine Jewelry/Watch Service Department Administrator/Sales Associate . The primary function of the service department administrator is to assist our clientele with the intake and delivery of repairs on their jewelry and watches. Additionally, you will support the sales team with clients if sales members are assisting other individuals, and you will answer phones and greet incoming visitors as needed.
Candidates must have a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with strong communication skills and must be computer literate. The Service Department Administrator must have flexibility in their schedule to work according to needs of the business and to ensure store objectives are met, this includes availability on weekends, extended hours during high season and some holidays.
This is a full-time position located at our local showroom in Boca Raton, Florida.
Qualifications:
• Three to five years+ experience in high-end jewelry/timepiece industry
• Must be able to evaluate client jewelry and timepieces for repairs
• Must be computer literate and able to enter data
• Established knowledge of fine jewelry (GIA courses or equivalent are a plus)
• Jewelry design ability (a plus)
Responsibilities:
• Evaluating client’s jewelry and suggesting appropriate repairs
• Input client information into computer and passing on repair to proper department
• Communicating with clients to keep them updated on the status of their repairs
• Provide exceptional customer service for an outstanding client experience
• Able to assist sales team on showroom floor when needed
• Set up cases before store opening, count and inspect inventory in assigned cases at closing to ensure all items are accounted for and there is no damage to any item displayed
• Keep displays and showcases clean and attractive
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dress and act in a manner that is professional
