Full time only. Hours 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Work location is Alachua County, FL with some exceptions. Duties include: Repair of Garage Doors and Openers Installation of New Openers Loading and unloading of trucks Customer Service Sales Use of hand tools and electric tools required. Must be able to climb up/down ladder. QUALIFICATIONS:  Garage door experience preferred, but training also available. Tools must be provided by applicant if hired. EGA Marine/Freedom Boat Club of South Florida is looking for a certified marine lead technician to join our fast growing company! Providing maintenance and repairs to a variety of vessels from 21' to 28’. Ideal candidate will have the skills to improve efficiency and productivity, highly driven, self-motivated and detail oriented, while motivating and supervising staff of technicians, detailers and subcontractors. Applicant must have own tools and experience in all phases of boat repair, including knowledge of Mercury and Yamaha engines. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform accurate and timely inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and installations Seek-out opportunities to generate revenue while performing maintenance Submit a complete and accurate work order, including parts request and all unit information, to ensure timeliness of job completion Perform duties within approved time frame and communicate expected delays with service manager Fill out accurate service records and repair documents Document and communicate any additional work needed Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and service units Complete designated work in a timely, competent and professional manner Knowledgeable in preparing estimates, identifying safety issues, and recognizing and correcting quality control.
